SHI SL Ltd honey meet the national standard of honey as certified by the Sierra Leone Standard Bureau. Raw Honey is aggregated from pristine tropical forests from the fringes of Otamba Kilimi National Park of Northern Sierra Leone. Nectar and pollen from multi-floral honey are collected from a variety of crops, flowers, and herbs. It ranges in color from light amber to dark brown. Laboratory results from composite samples sent to Eurofins laboratory in Germany indicate zero GM pollen, no antibiotics, no heavy metals.

How It All Started
SHI-SL is a honey producing company that combines traditional honey production methods and modern technology to get honey. We work with beekeeping communities in 6 chiefdoms using rudimentary beehives ( Bamboo and clay with natural herbs).
